We ran a session at the Three Stags Heads in Wardlow Mires, Derbyshire for a few years and one night on our way home we saw a barn owl take off by the side of the road. This session, linked to the one we still run at Fagans in Sheffield is what this song is about. It was a difficult year and my musical friends helped me through it.
